Lego Advent Calendar

What would you say if I said you can get a Lego advent calendar?

Well I speak the truth, you can now get an advent calendar that gives you pieces of Lego everyday in December in the run-up to Christmas. By Christmas Day you could have your very own collection of Lego started to go with the rest of your Lego presents you might be getting!

There are a few options in terms of what theme your Lego advent calendar will be this year:

• Lego City Advent Calendar
• Lego Pirates Advent Calendar
• Lego Castle Advert Calendar (Not directly available in the UK from Lego themselves, but you can buy it for a premium through Amazon)

I’ve not bothered that much with advent calendars in the past few years, partly because most of them seem to have chocolate in them and being someone who’s not a big fan of it, means there’s not much of a treat involved. Therefore the whole thing has been somewhat lost on me in recent years, so a Lego advent calendar seems to appeal (even to me personally) much more!

Also, surely this must be a healthier option than having extra chocolate everyday in a month where you’re probably already going to be eating lots of extra not-so healthy food!

I think a Lego advent calendar is a great way of counting down the days to Christmas, both for children and for adults – bigger kids will love the nostalgia aspect to it all. Do you think you’ll be getting one? If so, which one?
