Johnny Depp Back As Captain Jack In Pirates 4!
I can’t believe that I’m typing this, but…….it’s confirmed that Johnny Depp is set to reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates 4!!
I love Pirates, but think that the 3rd could have been loads better, and parts of the 2nd that weren’t that cracking.
Depp turned up for a Disney conference dressed in full Jack Sparrow costume and make up to announce Pirates 4. The only thing they could have done better was to have timed this announcement with National Talk Like A Pirate Day last week!
He also confirmed that he is playing the Mad Hatter in Tim Burtons Alice In Wonderland (which I think is gonna be awesome), and also Tonto in The Lone Ranger which is to be produced by Pirates producer Jerry Bruckheimer.

I always wondered whether we’d see more of Captain Jack given Johnny Depp seems to enjoy playing him so much, the question is will it pick up where the 3rd finished and whether we’ll be seeing any of the other stars returning now (given their stories were kind of completed) or whether they’ll be introducing new characters for this and other potential sequels.
