HTC Desire HD ROM Leaked Into The Wild, HD2 Port Coming Soon?

It’s hard to get through the day without some sort of Android news breaking around here nowadays, and it seems that today is no exception! Italian blog hdblog.it has uncovered a post over at xda-developers which has the full HTC ACE (otherwise known as the HTC Desire HD) image available for download.
Although this doesn’t mean that HD2 owners can get too excited about a port of the ROM on their phone just yet, it does mean that developers are working on making such a port possible. If you’ve been using Windows Mobile 6 for quite some time now, your rescue may have just arrived!
If you’re wanting to get the Desire HD for yourself, then you’ll also be glad to hear that the Snapdragon MSM8255 processor isn’t going to waste, bagging a Quadrant test score of almost 2000, which is quite a bit higher than a Froyo equipped Nexus One.
