Heroes Season 2 Trailer
‘Heroes‘ is another of my favourite TV show series which returns for season 2 on the 24th September. Unlike Lost, the story isn’t held back to the point where you are being constantly teased - in Heroes, the story is given to you thick and fast one episode after another, all contributing to the season-long self-contained ‘volume’.
The end of the first season of Heroes did see resolution to the main story arc while providing a glimpse of the direction of the next volume ‘Generations’, cleverly separated so as to not completely leave you on a cliffhanger! Warning - these videos contain spoilers of the outcome of the first season!
Here’s a promo and trailer for Heroes Season 2:

I can’t wait for this!
I’ve just been re-watching the last 3 episodes of the 1st season in preparation - it’s better than I remembered!
Hopefully the quality of the show will be as good as the first if not better, so we should be in for a treat over the next twenty-something episodes!
It’s a very entertaining show. It seems like the majority of shows these days create a main central problem that has the longevity to be solved in a season or two. My main examples are Lost and Prison Break. I think that Heroes is going in the same direction. They saved the cheerleader, they saved the world.
Now they are opening so many different doors just to keep the plot lines fresh. It may backfire if they choose to extend the series out and profit from it as much as possible (ie: Sopranos) or they could end it swiftly and create a cult following (ie: Battlestar Galactica / Farscape). Only time will tell.
I saw an interview with the show’s creator recently and he said that despite season 1 containing all Volume 1 of the story, the second season will contain at least 2 if not 3 Volumes of the overall story, I guess that way the show doesn’t get bogged down in the whole season leading to one big finale in a Buffy/Angel kind of way!
