Happy New Year!!! (2008)

I hope you all enjoyed your festive and new year celebrations and I’d just like to wish everyone a very happy and successful 2008, I hope this year is a great one for you!
I got thinking about 2007, this was the year in which I started knowingly reading blogs – Connected Internet being my first subscription. Within a couple of months of reading about the whole blogging concept I’d started my own here at Zath Games Tech. In the process of blogging here, I’ve learnt so much from so many different fellow bloggers out there, far too many to name individually, however special mention does have to go out to Garry Conn, who’s provided so much great information on his personal blog about blogging and making money online.
It’s been an long winding journey in my first year of blogging in which I made more mistakes than I’d like to admit to, one of which I’ve tried to rectify by narrowing the scope somewhat compared to my earlier days of blogging in which I’d be posting about a wide variety of things – I now try to stay more on the Games and Technology theme, hence the eventual branding to Zath Games Tech.
I took the decision of (hopefully) having quality over quantity and as such stopped trying to post something new every single day that I started out doing and instead provide something which I feel is of more value 3-4 times a week. Is this something that you as a reader are happy with? Or would you like to see more updates to the site, even if it meant shorter posts?
Like I said, I’ve learnt a huge amount from those making mistakes, sometimes it takes a little while to realise though, so if you as a reader do have any suggestions that you feel would make Zath Games Tech better, please let me know and I’ll take it into consideration as it’s always good to receive feedback whether it’s positive or negative! – I can take it…honest!
Thanks for reading and interacting by posting comments on my blog, hope you enjoy it and continue to do so in 2008!

Hey Zath – we all have really been enjoying the content. I think that 3-4 times per week is a great number. It keeps things concise and really buckles you down to come up with some good stuff – which you do consistently.
Looking forward to the new year!
Hey bud! I have to say that I really enjoy your comments and feedback that you provide in the comments on my blog. It has been great to get to know you better and I look forward to seeing what the future holds for Zath.co.uk
Happy New Year buddy! 2008 will be big for us
Happy New Year.
My biggest mistake has been trying to do too much at once.
I am going to start this year by trying to refocus on my main sites and then see what spare time I have.
Garry Conn has been a great inspiration for me too! What a guy……
Happy new year and thanks for a great blog. Been following it now for awhile.
Br,
Stefan
Happy New Year too! I find it hard to believe you’ve only been blogging for a year. As for regularity of posts – I am a bigger fan of quality over quantity myself.
Wishing you many happy returns this year Zath!
I am more or less back on the map – I have been publishing articles over the past couple of weeks while I have been on vacation in Japan.
I am back now and setting up a new directory site – so I hope you will stop by Bloglyne for old times sake and comment on anything that strikes your fancy.
I have cleaned up the sidebar a bit – let me know what you think!
Happy New Year, Zath..
I agree with you that we should look at the quality over quantity, and yeah, I post 3 – 4 times a week
Thanks very guys for all your comments, it’s much appreciated and always good to hear that people like to read what I write.
I’m thinking an unofficial resolution (I hate using that term), I mean general objective of mine from now on is to be more organised in all aspects of my life. In terms of my blogging I hope to be posting more regularly, especially after my recent enforced absence due to a recent illness I’ve suffered from which was promptly followed by computer’s illness of being dead!
