Halo: Reach Beta Available For All To Play

If you’re like me and only have a silver membership for Xbox Live, then fear not, as Bungie are letting everyone with an Xbox 360 join in on May 14th at 5pm GMT.
It will only be available to silver members for three days and will finish on May 17th at 5pm GMT, and then the beta will shut down for everyone on May 19th. However, saying that, Bungie did extend the beta for Halo 3 so maybe the same will be done for Reach.
As well as the Reach beta being available to everyone, Halo 3 and ODST will also be free to play for the few days that Bungie are giving us. I think this is a great idea as it will give every Xbox gamer with a copy of ODST to experience what Halo: Reach will be like and if it will live up to expectations.
With the release date creeping closer and closer, and the release of the Halo: Reach ‘Birth of a Spartan’ trailer, I’m really looking forward to sinking my teeth into the game and can’t wait to get my hands on a copy.
Are you an Xbox Live Silver member and excited by this news? Are you an Xbox Live Gold subscription member and have been playing Reach since the beta went live? Let us know in the comments below.
