Gran Turismo 5 Release Date Delayed….Again! But Still Expect Racing This Christmas!

Gran-Turismo-5-DelayJust got word of more disappointing news coming out of Sony, the long-awaited follow up to the hugely successful Gran Turismo 4, Gran Turismo 5, has been delayed again from its supposed release date of November 2nd.

The title has gone through a lot over the past couple of years, in fact, I remember getting excited about it back when it was first announced as being one of the launch titles for the Playstation 3 console and this delay has just taken the biscuit for me.

I mean much more of this and we’re going to be heading into Duke Nukem Forever territory…although I suppose even that has been resurrected from the dead once more, so there’s always hope!

However, don’t fret if you’re wanting it for Christmas, as Sony promises to deliver what is undoubtedly going to be a chart topper come this holiday season, although no word on an exact release date just yet…so whether you’re expecting to be The Stig racing around the Top Gear test track on Gran Turismo 5 this Christmas morning depends on whether you believe Sony’s latest announcement.

So, just let us know in the comment section below exactly how impatient you’re becoming to get your hands on the Sony Computer Entertainment title. Do you think these continued delays are justified now we’re into the era of downloadable updates to tweak and improve games after release?

Without any shadow of a doubt Gran Turismo 5 will be greatest driving simulation on any games console, but do you actually believe that we’ll actually end up getting this in time for Christmas?

As a long time follower of the gran turismo and a recent defender of gran turismo to forza fans( which I also own and like more and more the longer I have to wait for gran turismo!) I am deeply pissed to now learn that gran turismo has again delayed the release date. In my eyes this nothing more than sony and gran turismo “SITTING” on the release date for the holidays to create even more hype for the game, slapping the face of long time fans who believe pushing the release date back constantly for over a YEAR since their truly tiny offering of prolug is walking a thin line of being TOO MUCH to stand! Thanks alot Sony and gran turismo! I would wait for a response from sony or gran turismo but if it takes as long a the game I just don’t have the time!
