Ghostbusters Game Delayed?
It looks like the much anticipated Ghostbusters game will be delayed again…well for all consoles apart from Sony’s Playstation 3 and Playstation 2.
Sony have snuck in at the 11th hour to steal the rights for the PAL Playstation release of the Ghostbusters game (on the 19th June 2009) to coincide with the release of the 25th Anniversary Ghostbusters Blu-Ray release, which is released 4 days earlier on 15th June 2009.
It was only the other week we were talking about how good the Ghostbusters Video Gamer trailer looked and the fact we were excited about the launch. Now this is going to anger a lot of other gamers who have been dying to play the game, as the release date for other consoles, such as the Xbox 360, has been pushed back to the end of the year!
What are your views on this? Are you annoyed that Sony have squashed all hopes of Xbox 360 and Wii gamers busting ghosts this summer?

I’m so cross, little wee just came out!
I was really looking forward to Ghostusters on the 360. Let’s hope it’s at least out for Christmas.

This sucks the big one!!!! how many times are they going to put this back!!!!! I can understand that games designers encounter problems on the way but for **** sake just set a date and stick with it. And another thing WHY do ps3 games get this opportunity before xbox users is it about money cos the last time I checked the 3rd richest man on the PLANET!!! owns xbox. Xbox make £60 a pop from online users a year in the uk alone and its that fact alone that we should be given first refusal to any game released!!!! it really does take the piss

i just dont understand this, why put the game back again. i was annoyed the first time they said it would be delayed. june came round and i thought ‘yes! ghostbusters anniversary, i can celebrate in style by playing the new game’ but what should i hear but it has been put back again, and not just by a month or even two but FIVE! five months of hearing cockey ps3 owners bragging about how they can play the game when they expected to. Bustin will make me feel good, but waiting to do it wont!

I will not be buying a copy in the UK i will make sure that i am not part of their figures that shows that they still made loads of money here on release for xbox. How dare they do this. I WILL NEVER BUY A PS3 especially for a game. What tits they are for thinking that people have £300 to go buy one from pressure buying. They are fools thinking people will do this when people cant even afford to pay their bills. It seems that Sony are showing their true colors and that the Xbox is a better machine that they have to sell theirs 4 months before xbox. I will be ebaying this asap

and i have now just ordered m,y copy from america on ebay. its region free. i will not be waiting and i will not be buying a ps3. and if they decide to ban me i will kick off

Just to confirm with everyone here, I’ve bought the North American Xbox 360 version of the Ghostbusters video game and can confirm that it works fine on a standard UK Xbox 360 (it’s a great fun game btw).
