Ghostbusters 3 Game?
Ghostbusters 3 game, a would-be new movie sequel that I personally would love to see as I’ve liked Ghostbusters since I was a kid when I’d watch the movies and the Real Ghostbusters cartoon series. It’s been talked about appearing in one form or another over the years, be it a live action or a CGI movie, however apparently Bill Murray has been less than enthusiastic, whereas Dan Ackroyd has the one who’s really been trying to push for it to happen.
Earlier this year some footage of what was thought to be a Ghostbusters game made by Zootfly was released, however Sony then ordered that all reference to the franchise be removed, presumably because they were already working on a Ghostbusters game title.Now an official game which Dan Ackroyd is involved in (he’s doing motion capture and everything!) has been announced and some footage released, which apparently takes place after the events of the Ghostbusters 2 movie with the team now being more successful with their Ghostbusting business and is essentially Ghostbusters 3!
The last Ghostbusters game I played was on the Commodore 64, I remember moving round the grid of streets of New York and trying to not “cross the streams”. I hope this new Ghostbusters 3 game does the franchise justice, the footage looks good, let’s hope it plays as well.
What do you think to it? I’m mindful of the last point the Attack of the Show team talk about in terms of sales and the publishers Scarface game, do you think they’ll take the easy route given the name recognition? I’m looking forward to the possibility of playing the Ghostbusters 3 game.

Glad to see its being scripted and narrated by the original writers of the movies. With such a classic as Ghostbusters it’s important to keep an eye on the originals which I’m sure they will do.

It will probably be a hit. It looks interesting enough to me.
I don’t know if I was late to the party when it came to Ghostbusters, but my first memories were of watching the highly entertaining Real Ghostbusters cartoon - only a few years later did I watch the films.
Some of the stories in the cartoon were really good - or at least seemed like it at the time! I hope the original cast members do come up with new stories for the characters for the game, then why not do it for a CGI film - it’s much easier to get round the aging factor with either of these media!
I’m gonna have to re-watch the movies again soon now!
Looks to be a good game. Let’s just hope it stays true to the series. A new gen version would be nice, but can you imagine a Wii version? Firing the (don’t remember what it’s called) beam cannon with the wiimote? Great idea.
Now there’s a great idea ninja.s, I hadn’t even considered the Wii potential for this game! That along with the inevitable Star Wars light saber game would certainly give me reason to hunt down an elusive Wii for myself!
Looks awesome, I am slowly getting my arm twisted into buying a 360 at some point!
With the price of the 360 coming down and the improved warranties, you should really look at it Forest - the online gaming is especially good!

ghostbusters rust in the graveyard and this brand new
version of the ghostbusters game and this time the in game
graphics are far better than the original trashy 2d versions
a least in the new game the enviorements are realistic
with including some familliar elements form the ghostbusters
movies including the sedgwick hotel and the courtroom
where they battled the scolari brothers in the sequel
and some old fave like the library ghost slimer and
the staypufft marshmellow man back to wreck havoc
in the streets of new york may we wonder if we see
a appearance from gozer and vigo from gb2 in boss
levels i do’nt know we will see watch treats the game has
in store for us ghostbusters fans but i can’t wait to see

This is NOT GHOSTBUSTERS3 This is a remake of the first GB movie in videogame format! Ghostbusters 3 WILL BE MADE IN CGI! I’ve read many reports and it says that GB3 in CGI is a GO and the script is ready to GO and that’s AWESOME!
I’m really looking forward to this game and hope it is well done, it would be great to go through all these scenes from the movies and perhaps bring in some concepts from the Real Ghostbusters!
A true movie sequel for Ghostbusters 3 in CGI would be very cool - a definite upgrade from watching the Real Ghostbusters cartoon as a kid!

I emailed you from videogamesblogger that Ghostbusters 3 will be made in CGI! Did you get my email? If not let me know then I will email you the Info. again. It says that GB 1 and 2 are a sequel in videogame form,and the movie will be made in CGI with the Gb Cast from 1 and 2! They will voice the movie and game!

I got some AWESOME news about GB3 in CGI. I was told that at the Comic-Con they will be showing a Teaser Trailer for the CGI movie and the movie will be in Theaters next Summer of 2009. I have a friend who lives in San Diego and she works at the Comic-Con and I told her about the Teaser Trailer for GB3 in CGI and she already knew about it and I was so Happy about that. Hang on tight because it’s coming in CGI next Summer of 2009 did you hear about that to? I hope so because it’s no joke it’s real please email me back.asap!

I just had a quick look on the Comic Con website and saw that this means the Ghostbusters 3 trailer should be out in late July!

Thanks for the wonderful email. I read the samething on your webage and I’m glad that I gave you a Wonderful update. Do you know what date the CGI GB3 movie will be released in July because my friends wants to know. Your my friend to and I Thank You for that. There a still jerks that think that I’m a liar and you but I’m not worried about it because they will feel so stupid after this comes avaliable.
