Free Orange SIM Card

I’ve been looking at getting a free Orange SIM card recently because my current Orange contract finishes at the end of this month. I’m considering going back onto ‘pay as you go’ (PAYG) given my relatively low usage in terms of making calls and only send around 30 texts a month on average.

The tariff on this free Orange SIM card seems to be quite reasonable if your usage of your mobile phone is fairly low, based on the following tariff costs, I think I’d definitely be paying less per month than the line rental that I’m currently paying on my Orange contract. Plus this SIM card comes pre-loaded with £5 of top-up, so you’re actually coming away having made a £5 profit!

Each SIM card allows customers to choose an additional reward from one of the famous Orange PAYG price plans: Dolphin, Canary, Racoon and Camel.

• Dolphin – UNLIMITED FREE TEXTS + FREE ACCESS TO FACEBOOK, BEBO and MYSPACE (free texts dependant on monthly topup amount)
• Canary – FREE CALLS TO ANY NETWORK (up to 240 free evening and weekend minutes dependent on monthly topup amount)
• Racoon – 15p CALLS TO ANY NETWORK (regardless of topup amount)
• Camel – CALLS FROM ABROAD FOR 5p (calls to more than 50 countries from 5p per minute, 15p texts to overseas mobiles regardless of monthly topup)

Obviously if you’re wanting a new, expensive mobile phone then going for the free Orange SIM card option probably isn’t the best, but if like me, you’re satisfied with your current mobile for the time being, then this is would be a great way of saving some money!
