Free Fantasy Football League – Zath Premiership 2009/10 – Register Your Team Now!

It’s that time of year again! The new football season is fast approaching and obviously that means that whether you’re a big football fan or whether you just like to go “shopping” for a few Premiership superstars and pit your wits against other readers here on Zath – yes it’s time to register your free fantasy football league team entry for the Zath Premiership 2009/10 and try to beat the reigning champions; Claire Goulding’s “Toques Tykes”.

As you can see from looking at the end of season results for the Zath Premiership 2008/09, we had quite a lot of entries (the most yet in fact), it made for an exciting season right down to the wire and it was also the first season in which we were able to offer some cash prizes to the winners, but we’re going to be better them this year, keep on reading!

Free Fantasy Football Competition Summary

• Spend £100 million on a team of 11 first team players and 4 substitutes.
• You can make as many changes to your team before the first game of the season as you like.
• After the season has started, you can make one change to your team per week for free, or make further changes that will cost you some of your accumulated points.
• You can nominate one week during the season to be your ‘transfer wild card week’ where you can make as many changes as you like at no extra cost.

The Zath Premiership Prizes

We had good prizes for the Zath Premiership last year, but this year we’ve managed to sell the media rights for a bit more (so to speak), so these are the improved prize line-up you’ll all be competing to win for the final finishing positions in the 2009/10 season of the Zath Premiership.

• 1st Place = £50
• 2nd Place = £30
• 3rd Place = £20
• Last Place = £5 OR take a gamble on the “Zath Mystery Wooden Spoon Prize!”

How to Join the Zath Premiership

1. Go to the following link and either register or log in (if you already have an account from last year) and then go shopping for some players! – Zath Premiership Registration
2. Once you’ve got a team put together, click on the Leagues link on the right hand side of the page and in the ‘Join a Private League’ field, enter the code below to join the Zath Premiership!
3. Zath Premiership League Entry Code = 883882-181313
4. Leave a comment below telling us the name of your team (this is required to validate your entry, otherwise it won’t be admitted into the league).

So there you go, if you want to be in with a chance of winning these prizes, register now for the Zath Premiership – before 11.30am 15th August 2009 to make sure you’re scoring points from the start of the Zath Premiership! However, we’ll accept entries into the competition until the 31st August 2009; but obviously, you won’t start scoring points from the start though.

What Now?

We wait until the big kick off on the 15th August, but remember you can make as many changes to your team without penalties until then.
