Fantasy Football – Zath Premiership 07/08 – Register Your Team!
Written by Simon Barker on July 11, 2007 · Filed under Games
It doesn’t seem that long since the ‘Zath Premiership‘ Fantasy Football league finished and as you can see from last season’s results, it was a close run thing which I eventually won to re-take the title!
It’s now less than a month to the start of the new English Premiership season which this fantasy football league is based upon and as such you can now register and pick your teams for the 2007/08 season to try and wrestle my recently won trophy out of my hands!
A few things in summary:
1. Spend £100 million on a team of 11 first team players and 4 substitutes.
2. You can make as many changes to your team before the first game of the season as you like.
3. After the season has started, you can make one change to your team per week for free, or make further changes that will cost you some of your accumulated points.
4. You can nominate one week during the season to be your ‘transfer wild card week’ where you can make as many changes as you like at no extra cost.
So if you feel like taking up the challenge and having a bit of fun playing in this competition, go to the following link and either register or log in (if you already have an account) and then set up your team.

We’ve already got quite a few signed up, so why not join us? It should make for another great season!

Hi there, if you click on the Leagues link on the right hand side of the page and in the ‘Join a Private League’ field, enter the code and click the ‘Join League’ button, it should be all sorted!
Fantasy football sounds good, but at the moment it’s just another hobby I want to get into, but don’t have the time.
Well once you’ve selected your team, you don’t have to make changes every week and when you do make changes it only takes a minute or two.
I had a couple of people last year who made no transfers at all and they still did rather well.
Don’t feel put off due to time commitments – I wouldn’t be playing myself if it took a lot of my time!
