Facebook Profile Toggle
I joined Facebook last summer and not long after was when they opened it up to all the 3rd party application developers, which was when your requests started stacking up on your homepage and your profile page started being overwhelmed by all the different application boxes.
This used to really bug me when the requests were all listed separately down the side of the homepage, thankfully Facebook improved that system and grouped it and I now only see the huge list when I go to the request page!
The other issue was with having loads of applications set up on your profile page, would mean that it started to really clutter your Facebook profile page, I’d be removing applications to tidy it up because one of the initial things I liked about Facebook over the likes of myspace.com was that general design and layout was quite clean cut and good to look at. The more applications that get added the more cluttered it gets.
Thankfully Facebook has now introduced a toggle feature which will initially hide as many applications on your profile page that you specify and will only display them once you click the “Show More Profile Boxes” link at the bottom of the page.

Do you use Facebook? What do you think to this change? What do you think to the whole social networking site?
EDIT: If you’d like to add me as a friend on Facebook, you can do so by going to my Facebook profile.

Do you use Facebook?
Yeah I do.
What do you think to this change?
I dunno. I am kinda sick of all those applications anyway.
Been spending way too much time blogging to spend time on other things.
What do you think to the whole social networking site?
Facebook? Or others as well such as friendster, multiply etc?
Well, I think they serve their purposes okay.
Cheers!

Well I think the cleaned-up profiles is a step in the right direction…but it takes more than that to cure Facebook application fatigue!
As far as a networking tool, I went in with low expectations and have been quite pleasantly surprised thus far. Like most social networking tools, it’s a matter of how much effort you put into it.
Oh, and you left out the link to your Facebook profile!
Gotta start the networking somewhere!

Now that’s a good point! In that case, feel free to add me as a friend on Facebook, my profile is here: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=649050975
I’ll also add that to this post and also to my About page, thanks!

Does Toggling someone not allow you to see who or what they are doing or talking about? My girlfriend did this and it has me concerned. Could you please explain and ease my mind
