Eurogamer Expo 2009 – UK Games Show! (Leeds & London)
The time is almost upon us. The Eurogamer Expo 2009 kicks off next Tuesday 27th October at The Royal Armouries in Leeds for 2 days before heading down to London on the 30th and 31st October.
Here at Zath, we’ll have our avid gamers at both conventions to hopefully get our hands on some of the best upcoming games, and even some titles that have just been released such as Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, which is the one I’ll be lining for first as I still don’t have my copy.
The list is complete and there are some great games that will be on show. From AAA titles such as Mass Effect 2, Alien vs Predator, Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time, the eagerly anticipated Heavy Rain and tons more, to Indie games which are becoming more and more popular these days thanks to digital downloads. To check out the full list of titles, take a look on the Eurogamer Expo What’s On page.
It’s not just games that will be on show at the expo though. Industry giants such as Ubisoft, Rare, Team 17 and Sega to name a few will be there to give talks on their projects and general industry stuff which I’m going to find really interesting.
From what I’ve seen, all the tickets are now sold apart from the 28th October at The Royal Armouries in Leeds. So if you still haven’t got yours yet (you’d be pretty stupid not to have one), then hurry up and bag yourself one for a measly £6 before they all go.
Keep your eyes on Zath for our thoughts and experiences of our first venture out into the world of gaming expos!! Hopefully this will be the first of many and not too far into the future, we’ll be reporting from E3 games show!!!
UPDATE: You can now read whole our overall Eurogamer Expo 2009 (Leeds) review and also the Eurogamer Expo 2009 (London) review to find out what we thought of our experience of our first gaming show!
