Eurogamer Expo 2009 Preview

The Eurogamer Expo is almost upon us, so seen as though we’ll be heading along ourselves for zath.co.uk’s first ever games expo as members of the press, we’d thought we’d share with you a few of the titles that have been announced to show their faces in Leeds and London this year.

For the first time, the Eurogamer Expo will be coming up North to Leeds (which is where we’ll be going) to The Royal Armouries on 27th and 28th of October, and then down to London’s Old Billingsgate on 30th and 31st October.

There’s already been a huge list of AAA titles that are going to be on show this year and there are still some more to be announced. The list so far includes big titles such as:

• Assassin’s Creed 2
• Heavy Rain
• God Of War 3
• Beatles Rock Band
• Dark Void
• FIFA 10
• Halo 3: ODST
• Mass Effect 2
• Lost Planet 2
• Red Steel 2
• Tekken 6
• Left 4 Dead 2

Just from these few titles we’re already really excited to hopefully get some hands on time with these games. To see the full list of current titles, head on over to the Eurogamer Expo – What’s On page.

Just remember to keep checking back as the list hasn’t finished updating yet. It’s going to be geektastic to be among a crowd of people who all appreciate games as much as we do and to actually speak to some industry professionals about their games and their passion for gaming.

There’s also going to be a careers fair at the expo’s, so if you’re like me and want to be a budding animator, games designer, scripter etc, then get your showreels sorted now and take a stack of them down with you to hand out.

So if you fancy heading down to either of the Expo’s yourself, the tickets are £6 each per day. The expo is on from 11am to 8pm each day and you can order yours now using the Eurogamer Expo Registration page.
