Did You Purchase Tweetie From MacHeist? You Can Unlock A Ton Of Cool Features In The New Twitter!

Any customer who purchased the Tweetie Mac Desktop App from the last MacHeist bundle was promised a free upgrade to Tweetie 2 at the time. Fast forward a good few months, and the newly named ‘Twitter’ app is available in the Mac App Store, free for everyone.

Don’t worry though, if you bought Tweetie from MacHeist, you can still take advantage of some super cool features, and here’s how…

With Twitter open, select the ‘Help’ menu from the menu bar at the top of the screen, and press Ctrl + Alt + Cmd all together at the same time. The ‘Twitter help’ link will now say ‘MacHeist Secret Stuff’.

Simply enter your username and password when prompted, and the next time you go in to Twitter preferences, you will be able to go to the ‘Super Secret’ link to customise different things in the application, and get pre-release versions before anyone else.

The whole process is super easy, pretty cool and takes less than a minute to complete!
