Cheap Xbox 360?
What do you think to a cheap Xbox 360 bargain? I say bargain because you can now pick up a cheap Xbox 360 for less than the cost of a Nintendo Wii.
Admittedly this is for the cheapest Xbox 360 Arcade model of the console which doesn’t come with a hard disk drive, but even so this means that Microsoft have now priced an Xbox 360 model as the cheapest console out there.
This has come about as a result of the recent price cuts as reported by the BBC, the entry-level cheap Xbox 360 bargain retail price is now £159.99, a reduction £40 on what it was previously! There were also reduction in price of the Premium (£249.99 to £199.99) and the Elite (£299.99 to £259.99)
What do you think to this move by Microsoft? Has it done enough to convince you to buy one now if you haven’t already got one? Now that HD-DVD has lost the format war and Sony now have their cheaper Playstation 3 console as a Blu-Ray player, do you think that Microsoft will now push forward at a faster pace with their Xbox 360 IPTV and video downloads moving away from physical-media altogether? Or will they be shipping an external Blu-Ray drive in the future, much like they did with their HD-DVD add-on?
Anyway, if you have been waiting to get the cheapest bargain to get into Xbox 360 gaming then now is definitely the time to do it, take a look at some of the cheap Xbox 360 bargain console bundles below.

I’ve had a Xbox 360 Premium for over a year now, it’s good, however now that you can get a cheaper Xbox 360 Elite which includes a HDMI connection, quite how much better it might be though, I’m not so sure - but it looks cool in black!
I think you need to use one of Microsoft’s proprietary hard disk adapter for the Xbox 360, however I’ve not read anywhere that you can then slot in a larger hard disk, so I would guess that it is not an option with the Xbox 360.
Also, another difference with the Xbox 360 Elite is that you get a larger hard disk included 120gb instead of 20gb with the Premium.

[...] I’ve been looking around for the best cheapest Nintendo Wii console bundle for myself and some of my friends who also want to get one, the thing about this console is that because Nintendo have such a hot product on their hands, there will unlikely to be any price cuts soon, since they don’t need to make price the Nintendo Wii as the cheapest console (cheapest is Xbox 360). [...]
I feel Xbox 360 is not cheaper compared to Nintendo Wii console as even they are promising a cut in price I am not sure the cut will be large and also whether Nintendo’s price will be matched or not. Though we get a larger hard disk Nintendo Wii certainly is best for me:)
