Top Gear has finally revealed the White Stig’s identity for themselves in the opening show of their new series and who’d have thought it, it was Michael Schumacher all along!…well yeah…maybe!

Nothing pleases me more than stupidity. My feelings towards its existence, however, are weirdly balanced. I sit pleasantly between cackling like a witch at how much stupid people need to be charged Stupid Tax and feeling happy that there’s a portion of the human population that keeps us all entertained. They’re a necessary evil and I can tolerate their dumb behaviour… just about. There’s definitely an art to it and since everyone else has jumped on this bandwagon, I thought it only fair for me to do the same. Given that I am the intentional Queen of Silly, I’ve spent a little while collecting together the most ridiculous and unquestionably some of the most stupid Facebook (vanity) URLs that have been registered since its launch at 5am (BST) on Saturday 12th June 2009.

On the 1st April every year we take the opportunity to make fun of people less aware of the date than us, but this has risen from a friendly tradition into a massive event where companies will try and come up with the most outrageous ideas and products, and hope that people will believe them.

IGN, the gaming website has come up with some great April Fools jokes in the past, my personal favourite is the Legend of Zelda Movie trailer that they created last year, it clearly took a lot of work, whereas this year’s would appear to have taken a simpler twist – the leak of a new Grand Theft Auto game – GTA: Harbour City.
Take a look at the pictures available over at IGN Xbox 360, it looks quite convincing that there would will be a new GTA released by the end of next year.

Remember I was going to recommend a phone that was better that the iPhone? Probably not, but here it is anyway. After pre-emptive action on Apple’s part following recent negotiations with the EU, this is the first, but it certainly won’t be the last phone that incorporates much of Apple’s patented technologies. So let’s have a look at the Nokia A88…
First off, it REALLY looks like an iPhone. It’s a little larger (because of the removable battery, SIM card slot and enhanced camera, I suppose) and you can forget about using it with iTunes (although it does support iPhone apps and purchased iTunes content). Nokia have decided to include a back button (halleluiah!) as well as an analogue volume wheel. This is just the sort of thing that you only appreciate when you have it.

Beware of the monkeys!
Watch out when you’re next at the safari park as the monkeys are learning fast what to do with our technology – in this case with all the bits of cars that they pull off as you drive through.
At this rate it won’t be long until they’ll be rising up and we’ll be facing a ‘Planet of the Apes’ situation…well maybe not just yet, but at least watch out for those dodgy monkey drivers out there cutting you up on the road!

Microsoft Songsmith has recently been released as a new piece of software from Microsoft’s research branch of software development, perhaps with a view to selling it in future, put simply it will create a musical jingle song based on somebody just singing some lyrics.
It apparently analyses the singing that you play to it and will then create a backing track of music to accompany it based upon various options that you select, such as the musical style, tempo etc.

Are you a big fan of Star Trek? Have you ever thought of typing using a Klingon Keyboard? Well now you can with this rather novel keyboard, it’s certainly a step up in the geek-factor from the one we covered in our recent World of Warcraft Keyboard review.
There’s always been various different Star Trek merchandise out there that you can customise your desktop with, but in the case of this Klingon Keyboard, it’s actually based on the best-selling Cherry G83-6000 keyboard with a PS/2 connection and a 105 key layout that has been customised with Klingon lettering and symbols.
