‘Call of Duty: World at War’ DLC Map Pack 2 Details

It’s just been announced that there will be another map pack released for Call of Duty: World at War in June, with another 3 additional maps and another Nazi Zombie map – this should make for a great follow-up to the Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 1.

There’s even going to be extra trophies/achievements available for the PS3/360 with the new map pack.

No news yet as to how much Map Pack 2 is going to be, but I’m assuming it will be the same price as the first one was when that was released a couple of months back.

It is kind of annoying that we pay £40 for the game and the £7 for each Map Pack available, when the Game of the Year Edition will probably contain both these downloadable content packs for £40 in total – But even with my complaining, I’m still going to be buying the second map pack. I’d be crazy not to!

The new Call of Duty: World at War maps on offer will be as follows:

Banzai

A Japanese jungle map which will include a waterfall. Whether the waterfall will be an aesthetically pleasing addition to the map or something that you can make use of remains to be seen.

Corrosion

A beat up train yard, which I can see being very simliar to the Subway map in Map Pack 1, but outdoors. Something a little more creative might have been better, but on saying that I haven’t seen any screenshots yet, so I could be impressed by this map.

Sub-Pens

A bombed out Sub base which could be quite cool.

Shi No Zuma

The Nazi Zombie map is called ‘Shi No Zuma’ or The Zombie Swamp. This time around it features Perk Machines (as the previous), the new Wunderwaffe DG-2 and the most exciting addition in my opinion………Hell Hounds!!

How cool is that going to be, having rabid Satanic dogs on the loose chasing after you whilst you’ve got 10 Zombies in front of you and trapped in a corner with only 12 rounds of your Thompson left!! With this being a Japanese Zombie map, it leads me to believe that the Zombies will be the Imperial kind, instead of the Nazis.
