Here's a quick update guys - I've only bought GTA4 (Xbox 360) and Lego Indiana Jones so far this year!

I'm going to sell GTA4 as I'm not really playing it on the Xbox 360 and buy the PC version instead which I know from experience I will play.

How is everyone else doing with their gaming resolutions?

I don't make New Year's resolutions myself. Mostly because I never followed through on them, but your reason is good too.

I'm guilty of waiting for reviews and price drops myself. I just hate going out and making that impulse purchase when the next thing I know it's sitting on a shelf collecting dust.

That's a great idea to actually compile a list of games that I plan on getting though before "allowing" myself to purchase new ones.

At the moment I'm replaying a few computer titles and have been pretty into them. After that I might move back into console but we shall see.

I see a lot of people taking the back track approach and aiming to complete the games they have before purchasing others. I used to do the same thing; buy games, not bother completing them, buy more games... rinse, and repeat. but nowadays i tend to dedicate all my efforts into completing a game before moving on. it's a great incentive to complete one game, and it's a great way to get excited about another game; holding off and using your willpower like that.

i've just downloaded WoW myself. I've tried to get into it a few times, and have failed. I'm really going to try this time around.
