A Further Website (De)valuation…

I’ve come across another blog entry over at And He Thought who had a few goes at valuing their website with some interesting differences in estimates which has prompted me to take another look at the whole website valuation thing

pingoat says:

“Your Blog’s Value is $12.03!”

My blog is worth $2,258.16.
How much is your blog worth?

This website is worth

What is your website worth?

I think the one thing these “valuations” along with the original one from dnScoop (which valued this place at $3073) prove is that it must be pretty hard to put a true monetary value on these kind of things. Actually making any money from selling a website will come down a fundamental of economics - it’s worth whatever an interested party is ultimately willing to pay.

$12.03 it is then! :)

I’m still in the early stages of stumbling around just trying to figure out how much I don’t know about the whole blogging concept, so please forgive me for any glaring mistakes.

Thanks for stopping by and responding Mark!

I’m guessing that’s because its a private blog, so no search engines or passing traffic can view it - that’s not to say it doesn’t have great value to those people privelaged few! :)
