24 Season 7 Trailer

24 is a highly entertaining TV show about a Counter Terrorist Unit (CTU) agent named Jack Bauer who…unsurprisingly tries to stop terrorists, but in real-time, ie. each of it’s past 6 seasons happens over the course of one full day!

As you’re probably aware by now, I’m a big fan of some of the quality American TV dramas that us viewers are being spoilt with in recent years, in fact in my opinion they’re far better quality in than the vast majority of movies being produced!

Don’t get me wrong, I’m also big movie fan, however I remember when I first saw the 1st season of 24 - I got the DVD boxset and we watched all 24 episodes within the space of a week! That was an intense week of entertainment! Obviously there are lots of moments where you need to suspend your disbelief and not actually think too hard about what might happen in real life, because hey it wouldn’t be as fun otherwise!

Season 7 begins in January, in the meantime, I think you should definitely try and catch up on Jack Bauer’s previous 6 days’ worth of action if you’ve not seen them before and then check out the new 24 season 7 trailer which is looking pretty interesting since they seem to be shaking things up a bit!

Although from the trailer it seems like they’re combining all the Die Hard films into one 24 episode TV season! Or am I just completely off course with that assumption?

What do you think to the potential new direction of the show? What with the previous 6 seasons of fighting terrorists and not to mention the obligatory CTU mole, do you think a change is now needed?
