Digg Wordpress Theme – Digs’em

I’ve been looking for a new Digg Wordpress theme to form the basis of a new look to the site for some time now and have been looking at various options, none of which I’ve found to tick all my boxes and been totally happy with.
However, my friend Garry Conn contacted me the other day saying he had released his first Wordpress theme called Digs’em. This theme is built from the ground up by himself and utilising his best-practice knowledge in relation to all things blogging and has a distinctly similar look and feel to the very popular social networking Digg.com site.

I’ve been playing World of Warcraft for around 6 months now, it’s a great game which provides me with a good bit of distraction from work, that being the case, I’m always on the lookout for any related content I can find, particularly when it’s funny!
Just recently I saw the the full South Park episode called ‘Make Love Not Warcraft’ and if you’re a fan of either of these things, you should definitely check it out – there’s lots of great jokes in the show about WoW and online games in general. I remember reading speculation about a new Knight Rider project for the past few years, sometimes it was concerning a movie re-make version of the original series, other times it was a new Knight Rider TV show – it turns out that we have in fact a new Knight Rider TV series coming up!
I have fond memories from my childhood of sitting down in front of the TV on a Friday night with my parents and watching the original Michael Knight talking with his state-of-the-art black Pontiac Trans Am KITT car!
The original KITT was the ‘Knight Industries Two Thousand’, whereas the car in the new Knight Rider series is the ‘Knight Industries Three Thousand’ as this show is actually a follow-up to the original series with David Hasselhoff as opposed to the original speculation of it being a re-make. The car itself is a Ford Mustang Shelby in black with the obligatory moving red light at the front; you can see some pictures of the new car here.

Can you touch type? How fast can you type? Have you taken a free speed typing test before? What’s your words per minute (wpm) score?
I’ve tried on a couple of occasions over the years to learn how to properly touch type, but have not managed to successfully do it as yet.
Being someone who has always worked (and played) on computers, I’ve always thought it would be a great skill to have, both in a productivity and efficiency sense as well as being (to me at least) a cool ability to have – it always impresses me when people start touch speed typing in front of me.

I joined Facebook last summer and not long after was when they opened it up to all the 3rd party application developers, which was when your requests started stacking up on your homepage and your profile page started being overwhelmed by all the different application boxes.
This used to really bug me when the requests were all listed separately down the side of the homepage, thankfully Facebook improved that system and grouped it and I now only see the huge list when I go to the request page!

I hope you all enjoyed your festive and new year celebrations and I’d just like to wish everyone a very happy and successful 2008, I hope this year is a great one for you!
I got thinking about 2007, this was the year in which I started knowingly reading blogs – Connected Internet being my first subscription. Within a couple of months of reading about the whole blogging concept I’d started my own here at Zath Games Tech. In the process of blogging here, I’ve learnt so much from so many different fellow bloggers out there, far too many to name individually, however special mention does have to go out to Garry Conn, who’s provided so much great information on his personal blog about blogging and making money online.
