Football Manager 2008 Review

December 30, 2007

Football Manager 2008Well after my recent posts about the Football Manager 2008 trailer and FM 2008 demo – despite being a recovering football manager addict, having not really played the last two instalments, I’ve succumbed to the dark side and have got Football Manager 2008. It’s installed on my pc and it’s been played in special controlled doses of sessions no longer than 1 hour per day! ;)

Merry Stargate Christmas!!!

December 24, 2007

This is the first Christmas since I started this blog back in March 2007, I think I’ve come a quite way with Zath Games Tech, but I’m also sure that I’ve got lots more to learn and lots more to be done in 2008.

Thanks for sticking around for the ride, I hope that you enjoy reading what I’ve got to say and continue to do so in the future, just to remind you, any feedback is always good to hear, whether it’s good or bad!

I’d just like to wish all my readers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. All the best to you all, hope you have a great time over the holiday season!

LG Viewty KU990 Review

December 22, 2007

The LG Viewty KU990 is the latest “cameraphone” from LG which is the replacement model for the Prada. The LG Viewty is being badged as a cameraphone, that’s the first important point to realise – it’s not a mobile that claims to be a “jack of all trades”, instead it focuses in on being very good at what it does with both still and video camera features.

I’ve been using the LG Viewty KU990 for over a month now, but the first thing that you’ll notice about the LG Viewty is just how great this mobile phone actually looks and feels in your hand – it sits nicely in the hand, not being too big or heavy, on the back it looks like a traditional camera, while the front of it you’re presented with an outstanding 3” touchscreen with just 3 small and discrete actual buttons.

Lost Season 4 Trailer

December 16, 2007

Lost season 4 starts on 1st February 2008 which will run for 16 episodes over 16 weeks – which means once season 4 starts, we’ll get a new episode every week – there’ll be no waiting around for weeks of frustration that we had previously, particularly after the Lost season 3 finale!

It just means we have to wait until February for it all to kick off again and who knows, we may even get a few answers as to the questions that were raised in the Lost season 3 finale. In the meantime, take a look at the Lost season 4 teaser and the first season 4 trailer below.

World of Warcraft Leeroy Jenkins Video

December 11, 2007

Leeroy Jenkins Video, mention that phrase in the last year and many gamers would know exactly what you’re talking about – a YouTube video of a bunch of World of Warcraft players in the process of trying to complete a quest. If you haven’t played World of Warcraft yet, then I suggest you pick up this cheap bargain of a game and give it go, it’s lots of fun and I’m sure you won’t regret it!

I personally first saw this Leeroy Jenkins Video a couple of months – most probably because it coincided with me starting to play World of Warcraft, when I get chance that is, which isn’t as often as I’d like. A friend of mine mentioned it again the other day and I just had to watch it again, so I hope you also appreciate seeing it again if you already seen it before.

Belkin N1 Wireless Router Review

December 9, 2007

I recently bought a Belkin N1 Wireless Router to replace the D-Link Wireless ADSL Modem Router which had died after 2 years of loyal service. I thought I’d now sum up my thought in a review on the Belkin N1 Wireless Router after a couple months of use.

Belkin N1 Wireless Router

I live in a house with rather thick stone walls which doesn’t aid the transmitting of wireless signals, so I accept that fact that my wireless range may be less than other people’s may be. The D-Link Wireless ADSL Modem Router had a range of around 15m which I thought was quite good given it only cost me about £50 at the time.

Hattrick Manager Download

December 5, 2007

Hattrick Manager LogoHattrick Manager is a third-party program that I downloaded and been using for Hattrick, which itself is an online football manager game that I’ve been playing for a couple of years now.

Hattrick – an Online Football Manager Game was one of the first things I about earlier this year, since then I’ve managed to gain promotion from my original league and made progress improving my team – Hattrick Manager has really helped in doing this!

World of Warcraft Adverts (Video)

December 3, 2007

World of Warcraft (or WoW) is a game that I’ve been playing for a few months now and by doing so have now joined up with over 8 million other people who subscribe and play this game, that’s a larger population than a lot of the countries in the world! – Now that’s quite literally…WoW!

I’ve just seen these latest adverts for World of Warcraft that feature some familiar faces on the WoW website today, then less than an hour later, I saw one of these adverts being shown on a British TV channel.
