Technorati Favorites Experiment


Technorati is a site that has several main features; it’s a blog search engine, a place where you can centralise all the blogs you read, a social website and a blog ranking system. It attracts a large number of bloggers, who can use it to find like-minded blogs and bloggers and or if you’re simply a reader of blogs, you can find lots of new blogs of interest that are available to you.

EDIT:

The experiment referred to in the title has been started by Maki over at Dosh Dosh as a means to see whether it does in fact increase the traffic to a blog - for more information, take a trip over to Dosh Dosh, I’m no longer taking part in this experiment.

    I’m running a similar technorati fave & link exchange at my blog, where I’ll add a pointer to your post from my site if you do the same for me.

    I know what you mean FitForFreedom, I’ve only checked the Faves list a few times and usually find new sites in other ways, so in terms of traffic from that I’m not sure how big a difference it makes. However from running this fave and link exchange, I’ve certainly found lots of interesting new sites along the way which I now either visit and/or have subscribed to.
